In May 2010 Brunata opened a new factory for production of district heating substations with standard components in the industrial area near Stryama village, municipality Rakovski close to Plovdiv town. The investment in a building with 2200 square kilometers area and the necessary technical equipment guarantees production capacity of 2000 district heating substations per year, the main part of which are intended for export to dynamically developing district heating companies in the EU member countries.

Brunata is the only company which opens a factory for district heating substations in Bulgaria and the only one certified according to pressure equipment directive 97/23/EU, compulsory for all EU members.
